UER Rickenbacker

Malick struggled, but then stopped, knowing it would do him no good, and would only provoke Kirito to hurt him more. Diego, after witnessing what the Beast did to the female, turned his weapon on him, then pulled out his sidearm and pointed it at Kirito. He then fired a shot at the Beast.

Meanwhile, Myers was still the hostile AI on his computer screen, and it waas bothering him to no end.
"The cyborg will come for you...she will not let anyone live...especially not you..." it said.
"Shut up! Shut the hell up!" Myers yelled, trying to concentrate. Jake's body was doing hardly any good in the room he was in, but he didn't care anyhow. He wasn't taking a step outside the room until that large creature was gone. He could hear it. It's footsteps thundering across the floor. On the security feeds, he noticed it was in the nearby cafeteria. It had a woman cornered, with nowhere to go. She was shielding herself with her arms, but it did her no good, as the creature grabbed her and flung here across the room, with her smacking into a wall, killing her instantly. Myers backed away from the security feed. That thing was still around.

The Beast roared angry at Diego as he felt the shoots hit him. He also felt them flying away from him, landing farther away. He then stepped off the girl's body for a moment, just to snap after Diego with his jaws. Then he noticed that the girl was, slowly, on her way up into a standing position, and slammed his paws down on her legs. She fell headlong down in the ground again, and The Beast once again pinned her down.
He roared one last time before he lowered his head towards the girl again.

Kirito grined some, first at Malick, then at Diego.
"Come on. Shoot.", She said with her gaze at Diego. "Shoot, and risk your friend getting in the way. ", Her fingers flexed harder around Malick's throat. "I still wont get hurt, even if you succeed to hit me."

Diego wanted to shoot Kirito. He really did. But would he hit Malick by accident? He didn't want to risk that. Still, he kept his sidearm up, and kept an eye fixed on the Beast.

Kirito grined.
"As I thought. " She said and returned to watch Malick slowly get strangled. Humans and their emotions... Only a burden. If Diego didn't know Malick, he would've shot Kirito on the spot. But that wasn't the case.
She tensed her grip.

The Beast growled low and sniffed on the girl. Her skin had take on a paler cast, and her body was slowly dropping in temperature. She was slowly dying in blood lost, as the wound where the arm had sat still was pouring with blood.
The Beast grunted and licked the wound, tasting the blood. Nice. It tasted good.

He snorted satisfied and closed his jaws around the girls head and neck. The girl had fallen silent for a while now, The Beast only heard low, panicing whines as he began to bite down around her spine. In the next moment, he ripped off the head, just to throw it away in the air. The head landed farther away.
Meanwhile, The Beast turned around to look at Diego, grunted. In the next second, he had began to move away from the body and closer to Diego.

Diego stood there, one weapon aimed at Kirito, the other at the Beast. The Beast turned it's attention away from the blood spattered corpse and slowly moved towards him.
"Think I'm afraid of you?" Diego asked him.

Meanwhile, on Ops, Myers had found a vent in the room he was in, and had crawled into it. He would be back soon, but at least he had a way to get to other rooms without using the corridors. After searching a nearby room, Sec Ops, he returned to his room via the vent. Once he was back, he froze. On the surgical table, was nothing but a pool of blood. Where was Jake's body? Myers pulled out his handgun and pointed it in the direction of the table. He had a bad feeling he knew what had happened to the body.

The Beast growled and kept his gaze at Diego.
"It doesn't matter what you think..." He said and, when in reach, latched out with his paw and pushed Diego down on the ground. Before the man managed to get back up, The Beast had placed his paw over Diego's legs and now pinned him to the floor.
He licked his teeth and clapped his jaws shut.

Kirito gazed over at Diego and The Beast, then back at Malick. In the next second, she suddenly flinged Malick away. He slammed into the wall farther away. When the flying dust settled, Kirito could see the still body of Malick laying face down below a crater in the wall. He wasn't breathing.
She grined.
Then she turned around to The Beast.
"Don't bother him. I need to take care of Myers." She said to the chimaere.

"Malick! ****!" Diego yelled, jabbing a knife into the Beast's paw to get him off.

Myers meanwhile had stepped into his "saferoom" as he called it, only to find that Jake's body had disappeared from the table. And as he walked on, a shadowy figure grabbed a crowbar behind him and lunged at him. Myers was taken by surprised, and slammed into the floor. He got up to see a transformed Jake, wielding a crowbar and very angry. Myers picked up his sidearm and as the hybrid Jake dashed towards him, he fired a shot straight at his head, or what was left of it, spraying blood all over the wall. The hybrid dropped to it's knees and fell backwards, emitting a low moan as it did. Myers dropped the weapon, shocked.

(Didn't Jake have like... a nearly ripped off head?)

The Beast yapped irritated as he felt the stabs against his paw. He looked down, to see the knife actually digging itself down his skin. But as soon as Diego lifted his knife out from his paw, new tissue was created and healed the cut.
He looked back at Diego, and snorted. Stinking breath and snot hit Diego in the face.
"Come on now." Kirito said, The Beast looked up irritated, and immediately met Kirito's cold gaze.

Kirito quickly browsed through the video monitors in her mind, searching for Myers. She thought she saw him on another deck. Then she focused back out on her surroundings, and her gaze once again met The Beast's.
"Now..." She said and began to leave. The Beast hesitated for a moment, looking down at Diego.
He bent down, just to lick him over the face, and then stepped off him and began to follow the cyborg.

(Well, he put a bullet in what was left of the head.)

Diego staggered to his feet, watching as the Beast got off and began to follow the cyborg. Watching them, he rushed over to Malick's body. He wasn't moving at all, but Diego wasn't giving up now. He ripped a med supplies box off the wall and searched through it.

Myers, bruised but otherwise okay, picked up his weapon and stepped over to his computer. The AI had stopped bothering him for now, so he switched it on and quickly filed through the reports from the deck. He had to know what the hell these creatures were, and if there were any weaknesses. It was only then that he realised that the ship was moving. He saw it on a recently updated Xerxes report. The ship was back on course to the Amarr asteroid fields.
"Xerxes, what have you been up to?" Myers murmured.

While they were walking, Kirito suddenly changed her appearence. She shrinked in size, just a couple of decimeters although, and her body started to lay a layer of skin over her metallic body. Her hair started to change in colour and length.
And new tissue began to create over her bared eye, creating an eyeball and eyelid over it.

After a while, she had transformed. Into a identical copy of Malick.
She looked at her hands. Her now human hands. Then she looked over at The Beast, who growled in dismay by the look of Kirito.
She smiled some.
Hopefully it would be similar enough to fool Myers, who she had seen hiding in a terminal on the Operations. She'd changed appearence, since she doubted that she would be able to open the terminal herself. Myers were amongst the most competent hackers here, he would get controll of the terminal gate before she would. And that intruding AI just made it harder for her. Although she had it currently under control.
She looked back up at The Beast.
"How do I look...?" She said, The Beast just growled with hatred back.

Myers meanwhile had stuffed Jake's corpse in a corner and had begun filing through the lab reports. He learned that the creatures were not from the planet they had been found on. Further study showed that the hostile AI had been created 276 years ago, and was the main AI of Space Station Hades before it was destroyed in 2070. There was no trace of the AI since then.
"But how did it survive the destruction of the station?" Myers asked himself, puzzled.

She could still hear Diego farther away, desperatly trying to revive Malick. If Kirito had calculated right, the power she had produced in the throw had been enough to crush Malick's inside. He wouldn't wake up.

They suddenly stopped, as the elevator plinged. The next moment, and the elevator car's gate fling open, letting them to step inside the interior.
"Myers's on the Operations, but I am not sure where exactly." Kirito said and looked over at Kronos as the elevator car began to move with them.
"The hacker, or the AI, have disabled the location from the video monitors, we have to look for him." She heard Kronos only grunt back in reply.
"And Jankowski...?", She suddenly asked "Have you taken him out?"
Kronos suddenly fell silent. Kirito looked back at the chimaere.
"Well...?"

Kronos looked over at Malick(Kirito) but didn't reply. Then sighed.
"No."
Kirito's gaze hardened, disappointed in Kronos.
"Why?"
"He's not human. And he cannot be hurt." He replied. Malick chuckled.
"I doubt.", Then her gaze went hard again "Perhaps you have only weakened."
Kronos looked back at Malick, with something furious in his gaze. Malick looked away, towards the elevator shack wall.
"Very well. We'll take care of him too after Myers."

Diego rushed over to the woman's body, but he knew right away she was dead, missing her head and an arm. He returned to Malick, who suddenly coughed violently, blood spewing out of his mouth. He then fell silent, eyes gaping open. Diego stared at him, wondering if he should keep trying, but it looked hopeless. Malick was dead.

Myers meanwhile was stil searching through the security monitors for the creature, when he saw a shadow only just leave the monitor when he looked at it. He hadn't seen what it was, but on another security monitor, he saw rows of corpses at the cafeteria. They had been crew that had refused to listen to Anders and had been shot dead by her men. Suddenly, Myers heard a blood-curdling roar. The creature was still on the deck.

The elevator stopped, and the gate opened. Malick and Kronos stepped off the car, and into deck 4. The Operations. And Myers were somewhere here.
Malick looked around, then back up at Kronos. He transformed into The Beast in front of her eyes. But then something else suddenly caught her attention, and she turned around.
A howling cry rang through the corridors, thumping against Malick's eardrums. She grined a little.
"Seems like we have company." She said and looked back at The Beast, who grunted assent. Her eyes flickered, looking very odd on Malick's face, and she looked back around.
"Perhaps you would like to take care of it?" She said, and The Beast growled excited. Would he ever!
"Well, go then.", But she suddenly held back The Beast with stretching out her hand "But keep out of vision for Myers, we don't want to scare the poor human."
With those last word, she sent off The Beast. He ran fast, but silent, over the deck. Leaving Malick behind.
"Well then, time to find that hacker..." She said and wandered off.

Myers meanwhile was finishing up in his search of the kitchen in the cafeteria, which he'd accessed via the vents. He could hear the creature in the cafeteria, roaring, smashing tables. It could smell him. Myers picked up his weapon and shoved his supplies into the vents, and got in himself, just seconds before the giant creature entered the kitchen, only to find that Myers wasn't there. Myers breathed a sigh of relief, and headed back to his room through the vents. Once back he could check up on the request for information he'd made.

Malick focused inwards again, at her computer mind, who held controll over the ship's system. Once again she surveyed the video monitors, but still couldn't find any Myers. But she did notice that one of the cameras on this deck were offline, probably the one in Myers' terminal. And hence it was offline, she couldn't retrieve any location message from it. She wouldn't figure out where Myers were by looking on the videos.
She frowned and looked out again.
He had to be somewhere. She could as well start looking by the terminals.
And now she saw them.

The Beast easily picked up the creature's smell and now quickly followed. He sensed other smells too. More like... human food. He had to be close to a kitchen.
As he ran, he uttered a rumbling growl which echoed through the corridor.

Myers, re-emerging into his room, walked over to Jake's corpse and searched him for any weapons. All he found was a broken pistol and a pack of bullets. He heard the creature roar again. It didn't seem happy that Myers had slipped away from it.

The Beast suddenly roared back in reply as he heard the creature's cry. His beastly roar echoed through the deck.
He continued stalking.

Malick suddenly froze as she walked, and looked around. Great... Way to blow their location. Myers would wonder what had sounded, he would be much more cautious from here on. IF he had heard The Beast.

After a time of waiting, she returned to her search. She had found the terminals. A long row of rooms lined along the wall (I don't really know how it looks.), but she couldn't see into them. The glass were shaded, and you could only see through it if you would be in the inside.
But that didn't bother her, but she simply switched on her heatvision.

Her gaze searched through every room, scanning after human life. And yes, by time she found one. One throbbing, glowing spot farther away, in another terminal.
She grined.
Time to start acting.

Myers froze, still kneeled over Jake's corpse. He had heard another howling sound, slightly different this time. He pocketed the bullet box, then shut off his computer, the hostile AI nowhere to be found. But just as he he opened the vent and crawled in, he recieved a message from the Von Braun.
"What?!" Myers yelled into his comm.
"Croker here! I have some bad news! We're heading straight for the Amarr asteroid fields! We go in there without our shields online, we'll get bombarded by asteroids!" Croker said on the other line.
"But even without the shields, the ship can withstand just about anything..." Myers replied.
"Still not worth risking! Where are you?"
"I'm crawling through a bloody vent somewhere down in Ops with three bloodthirsty monsters on my tail! You?" Myers replied, irritated. But then the message was cut off, followed by a sudden shaking. Myers sighed, unable to believe what was happening to him. But he kept his courage, and continued through the vents.

Diego meanwhile was walking down a corridor somewhere in Recreational, Malick's salvaged weapon in his left hand, his pistol in his right. He wiped the sweat off his forehead and headed towards the elevator to the Bridge. He was greeted with an Access Denied by Xerxes level security instead. He sighed, then looked around the area, in hopes of finding a way off the deck.

Malick was just about to reach at the door to the terminal just as the whole ship rocked. She flinched in the movement, looking around. Feeling.

The ship moved. It actually moved. Why the hell hadn't she noticed it before?! They were by now moving away from the Fire Planet, into an asteroid field. She grinded teeth for a moment. Changed plans. She had to return to the Bridge and steer the ship away from the asteroids! Or else the ship would get ruined. And all her work would go to waste.

And suddenly she felt presence in her head. Malick tensed her fingers in surprising. Master's voice spoke to her, wondering why the ship had gone out of radar range.
Complications, Kirito simply said, she would get right to it.

With one last snarl, and with one last look at the terminal door, Malick suddenly, quickly, changed her appearence and once again returned to her normal body, cyborg body. Myers would have to wait. But she would keep in touch with him.
The Beast could stay here and take out the creatures if he wanted.

After one last moment of waiting, Kirito turned around and rushed for the elevator. She would have to do it quick.

Down in the Medical Deck, Diego had earlier gone down there to finish off what Malick had wanted to continue hours ago. By now, the Medical Deck was devoid of any normal humans, full of hybrids instead.

Myers meanwhile continued through the vent. He had a bad feeling of where he would emerge, but it had to be better than running into that creature again.

Kirito was already up on the Recreational deck by now, close to the elevator. As she moved, she noticed the bloody body of the girl, having an arm and her head torn off. The Beast would probably return to eat her later, just as Cortez' corpse she'd found by the elevator, where she had left him, but now with his abdomen sliced open with a bloody knife, which she had found next to the body.
She also noticed the crater on the wall which had been created as she had thrown Malick into it. But the body of the man was no longer there. A bloody trail led away from the spot into an unknown direction.
Diego.
Humans and their emotions... Nothing but a burden.

She left through a second corridor, and entered the elevator to the Bridge.

Meanwhile, The Beast was slowly sniffing his way to the kitchen, occasionally stopping to bark and roar. The creature knew by now that he was comming, and The Beast hoped that it would be scared, or atleast upset. Then he would get a good fight. He needed it. The victory, the blood frenzy, after the loss against Jankowski, where he had been forced to leave. Leave! It scarred his pride just as much as a loss, if not worse!

With a loud, furious snarl, he entered the kitchen.

Diego stumbled into his quarters, Malick's body missing. He'd been forced to leave it when a hungry hybrid had attacked him. He turned on his room light, then sat down and pulled out his pistol. He emptied it of the empty clip, then inserted a new one, the gun making a click as he did. He then slung his shotgun over his shoulder, then sighed. A scuttling sound could be heard in the ceiling, but he ignored it. He had had a bad day. A very bad day, and he needed time to think. Suddenly, the scuttling grew louder and closer. Diego froze and reached for his pistol, barely missing it as an unusually big arachnid leapt at him from an alcove. He dived and it missed him by a centimetre, It then rushed towards him and pushed him away. Diego grabbed his knife and, in fury, thrusted it through the arachnid. It squealed and feel dead. Diego sighed and kicked the corpse in anger.

Myers meanwhile had reached a small junction in the ventilation system. There he was reloading and trying to get a line to the Von Braun, but he wasn't getting a signal. The asteroid fields were devestating, but the ship could out for hours, even without shields.

The grav-lift gate by the Bridge, after a high-pitched ring, opened. Air hissed as the vacuum was locked out. Kirito entered.
She only devoted the humans at the bridge one short look while she was walking up to the dashboards. Seems like they have had a good time messing with the ship's course. It had been in orbit around the Fire Planet what seemed like just moments ago.

As she reached the dashboards, she put her hand against the steer control and gained access.

She wasn't fond with the idea of having to move all over the ship as someone here was messing with the ship while she was busy clearing. Someone, whoever that could be.
She would have to get backup just to keep the ship in check, some ship technicians and such. Maybe even some Nexus.
Yes... Nexus would come in handy here.

The Beast roared at the creature who stood by a vent in the kitchen, bellowing after something in there. Then it turned around as it heard the chimaere, grunting as it met his gaze. The Beast snorted back. Now it was only a power performance, the largest and scariest would be the victorer, and there would be no bloodspill.
But that wasn't what The Beast wanted, and instead he roared out loud and slammed his front paws in the ground, before he charged.

The large creature growled in anger, then braced itself as the Beast charged at it.

Meanwhile, Diego was in the R&D sector of the Medical Deck, filing through things on the computer Malick had left running hours ago. He had found video feed of the alien specimens being loaded onto a shuttle, ready to be flown back to the Rickenbacker. And Jankowski and the Von Braun commander had known what they were, and that they were alive...Something growled a few rooms away, so Diego sped up his search.

Myers meanwhile had emerged from the vents, but where was he? It was then he realised he'd left the map back at the room. He looked around. A long table which stretched across the room, a huge hologram display on the wall displaying the Amarr asteroid fields. And a corpse. He was in the Ops meeting room, no doubt. He could see a ledge near the top of the room, some kind of observation room. Myers had spent so much time working in the Command Deck, he'd forgotten the layout of the Operations Deck.
